This teapot is designed to brew the most delicious Japanese tea. Every step is handcrafted by Hirotaka Umehara, a traditional tea craftsman with the pottery name Tamamitsu II . The "rubbing technique" ensures that the lid and body fit together perfectly, thoroughly steaming the tea leaves and allowing you to pour every last drop of the delicious "golden drop." The rounded, low body allows the tea leaves to spread out freely, bringing out their full flavor. The wide opening makes it easy to pour and clean. The handle flares out toward the tip and is angled for easy holding. The delicate spout provides a sharp pour, and the ceramic tea strainer allows you to enjoy the tea's natural flavor.
