Tenugui Household Items Spirits
Description
Tenugui Household Item Spirits There is no information regarding the artist behind this design but the image is from the collection of Koichi Yumoto, a folklorist and collector of Yokai (a Japanese folk monster) items. Yumoto collected art from different artists, some famous and some not, which focused on everyday life in the Edo period. The tenugui uses a double gauze, weaving technique with a staggered sewing pattern that results in a high absorbency and high quality texture. Perfect for using in the bath, wiping perspiration from your face, as a napkin, or as a kitchen towel.
